It was a pleasure to accompany Minister Tierney for a visit to Njernda Aboriginal Corporation and the Berrimba Childcare Centre in Echuca to see the wonderful work they are doing in the early learning space for local kids and their families. It was great to hear from the teachers and educators, and they welcome the Andrews government’s initiatives and investment in early learning, including the addition of certificate III and diploma in early childhood education courses to the free TAFE course list in 2020, which will skill up a pool of educators as demand grows for three-year-old kinder.
